New Boy's Swim Sizing! Starting with our 2025 collections, we have updated the fit of our boy's rash guards and swim trunks. Trunks now have a shorter, sportier fit and should be true to size.
The material is incredibly flimsy and thin and cheap-looking. It doesn’t even feel like a bathing suit. I’m concerned once it gets wet, it’ll be completely see-through. Very subpar quality for the price.

definitely true to size, I could have sized up but it still fits great. My son is 3 and these are a 2T. These are also a short style fit. Super cute for a disney trip.
I ordered a size 3T for my 2 1/2 year old grandsons to include some “growing room” since summer is a few months away but I doubt these swim trunks will fit them until next summer. Perhaps with the drawstring waist they will stay in place without being too loose or too long. Otherwise the seersucker material appears to be good quality, the colors are fun (there is a label
attached advising the colors may fade) and the interior of the trunks are lined with a mesh lining so I will hold on to these.
Other than my giving the wrong address ( I might add customer service went beyond the call of duty for me) our grandson looks like a baby model. Our daughter says it’s the favorite swim trunks, so I’m ordering a variety of different ones. We love every product and my husband told me to slow down. Not happening. I recommend Classic Whimsy and am

I'm disappointed in the material and quality for a bathing suit. It's super thin and see-through when wet. Classic Whimsy is otherwise one of my absolute favorite brands.

I bought 2 for a sibling match and I am sooo disappointed about the fabric, because I love this print.
It is super thin and almost see through!
Doesn’t come close to the quality I have always received for CW!

Bathing suit is extremely thin and not quality material for the price
These trunks are incredibly short. They barely cover my son's private parts. They were supposed to be size 8 boys, and they might be long enough to fit my 5 year old daughter.
The sailboat bathing suit isn't lined, and that's the only negative. A boys bather should be lined with that mesh they all have. Other than that they are great.
Quality is on point. It’s made so well and it is adorable with the monogram on it! These swim trunks are sooo cute on my grandson! Everyone compliments on them!
